On January 23, 2026, the second session of the “Thought Exchange Forum” for the MN2025 cohort at Kiang Wu Nursing College of Macau (KWNC) was successfully held. Centered on the theme “Diverse Sharing · Mutual Learning and Progress,” the event featured a rich array of content including thesis progress management, culinary practice, and analysis of research hotspots, blending academic depth with humanistic warmth.

Planning is the cornerstone of research. To kick off the event, student Li Enen delivered a practical and instructive presentation titled “Managing Thesis Progress Milestones” for all MN2025 cohort members. She systematically broke down the core tasks, key timelines, and potential challenges at three critical stages: thesis proposal, ethics approval, and thesis defense. Drawing from her personal experiences, she offered actionable advice to help students clarify their research direction and alleviate confusion and anxiety about thesis writing, paving the way for smoother progress in their research endeavors.

Academic rigor with warmth, life with poetry. To alleviate academic stress and foster a relaxed, harmonious exchange, student Zheng Yuna hosted an innovative “jelly-making” culinary workshop. Through hands-on practice, she guided peers to unwind and release tension. Beyond delighting taste buds, this activity allowed students to experience the joys of life beyond research amidst their busy academic schedules. It also fostered closer bonds among classmates and strengthened the class's cohesion.

Subsequently, Xin Ziya focused on the nursing research hotspot “User Profile Construction,” delivering an academically substantive presentation. Starting from the definition and core essence of user profiles, she deeply analyzed the construction methods and core logic of user profiles. Integrating professional concepts such as precision nursing and humanistic nursing, she elaborated on the application ideas of user profiles in nursing research and clinical practice. This session not only broadened students' academic horizons but also provided novel methodological support for their professional studies and research innovation, empowering them to continuously enhance their expertise and unlock new research skills.

At the conclusion, Professor Zhu Mingxia delivered closing remarks. She highly commended the significance of this “Thought Exchange Forum,” fully acknowledging the meticulous preparation and outstanding presentations by the three students. She emphasized that the event served not only as a platform for peer learning and mutual inspiration but also yielded substantial insights for participating faculty. Furthermore, aligning with the school's research talent development requirements, Professor Zhu solemnly reminded students to closely monitor the timeline for their thesis proposal submissions. She advised them to clarify their research directions early, plan their academic and research progress reasonably, cultivate a rigorous and pragmatic research attitude, and grow through exchange and practice. The professor's earnest advice and sincere guidance brought the event to a satisfying and practical conclusion, while also injecting powerful momentum into the students' future academic and research journeys.
